Have read through several posts on this part. I wan to summaraise one exam question, which was difficult to answer.
Is roadbuilding an effective way of reducing unemployment?
Arguments for:
• Direct injection and extra demand into the economy
• Big labour supply
• Expectation of a strong ‘fiscal multiplier effect’
• Possible positive accelerator effect
• Reduce cyclical unemployment
Arguments against:
• Skills shortages and spare capacity
• Uncertancy in size of multiplier effect
• Long time lags on transport investment projects

In what type of market does the iPod operate in?
The iPod can be said to have a monopoly position in the market and well established market dominance. However it depends on how we define the market.
Another view is that the different versions of the iPod compete within an oligopoly.
